Presently there is sufficient scientific evidence that the global climate is changing. However, there is insufficient evidence humans are the cause or significant contributor.
Regardless of the human impact on the climate, human impact on the environment is indisputable and undisputed. Therefore, focusing the debate on climate change is unnecessary. The focus should be firstly on the environment. Debating climate change takes away the attention from the real issues, and sceptics control the narrative. Not bringing climate into the discussion and only addressing environmental facts such as pollution, deforestation, and extinction eliminate the scepticism.
The current human impact on the environment is unsustainable. Therefore, it requires immediate corrective action. If humans have contributed to climate change, it is most likely due to the human impact on the environment. If this is the case, addressing the current environmental deterioration will help to fix the climate.
