New age leaders and managers like to invent new titles for the same roles. Why not use a standard such as the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO) that provides standardisation of titles and position descriptions? Using a standard is similar to using a standard language that the majority understand. Inventing new titles does not do anything to make an organisation better.
Technically, there are only five legal titles in any incorporated organisation. These are President, Secretary, Treasurer, Director and Officer.
